Andrew Periale has been a writer and performer for most of the past 30 years. For the past 18 years, he has run (with his wife, Bonnie) the Emmy-nominated Perry Alley Theatre. They have performed original works across the country and in Europe, including national and international festivals. The NEA, the Jim Henson Foundation, the NH State Council on the Arts and others has funded their work. Mr. Periale is the longtime editor of Puppetry International magazine. He recently returned from Philadelphia, where he was performing in a production of Friedrich Durrenmatt's The Visit, which he also translated and adapted. Periale has been collaborating with composer Larry Siegel for many years, but this is his first time at Andy's.
