Most recently, David's work was heard at the Daryl Roth 2 in a reading of his new full-length play Baby Rattle, starring Julie White and directed by Trip Cullman. Bald Diva!, his parody of Lonesco’s The Bald Soprano, opened The Fresh Fruit Festival at Clemente Soto Velez last summer, where it won two festival awards: Best Writing and Audience Favorite. Bald Diva! was remounted at New York’s Red Room where it received critical acclaim and was named one of the "best plays of the season" by Talkinâ’s Broadway. David is a frequent contributor to the HOMOgenius Festival and to Cherry Picking. He will also be producing a festival of new plays this fall for Naked Angels.
