Meiyin Wang - Conservatory Co-Leader
Meiyin is a director, writer and performer. She graduated from Yale University with a double degree in theatre studies and political science and just ended a stint as the resident playwright with the Singapore Repertory Theatre before going to Columbia’s MFA Theatre Directing Program. The residency culminated in a production of her newest play Re: Pygmalion. As the artistic director of Livid Room Productions, she produced Postcards from Persephone in Singapore. This directorial and playwriting endeavor of hers was nominated in the national Life! Theatre Awards 2001, for Best Original Script and Best Original Script.
